I dont know whether a woodchuck chewed thru your particle board or not, but Yes woodchucks/groundhogs will definitely chew thru wood. Shed floors, chicken coops, wood shed - nothing is safe from a woodchuck.
We got excellent service from murray mcmurray this year, very happy with our order of 40 chicks. Several arrived dead and a dozen more died within a day or 2, but they were all cheerfully replaced.

Stings - not while mowing, but I dont mow around the hives on a hot day, that'd get them in a bad mood. I do use a smoker, headnet and long pants/shirt when I go in the hives.

I put 2 bulbs in my homemade incubator. The first bulb is always on., and the second bulb is on a water heater thermostat. I figured that 2 bulbs would give me less fluctuation in the temp - it worked pretty good for me.
