She is all white. Her left knee seems to be swollen. She is basically in the same spot. She will try to move a bit but she is not standing up. She flaps her wings to do so. She has beaten her wings up doing this.
I have a hen the I believe is just under a year old. Unsure of breed. She will try to get up but can't she is eating and drinking. I don't know whats going on with her.
I believe she is a broad breasted white. He has never been with a hen. Until I picked her up he was the king of the chicken coop. I don't know if I'm ready for eggs. When should she start laying if no lights? Cause this just seems too early for Western New York.
Tom is a bourbon at least 3 yrs old and I think she is a bbw about a yr. And yes they will be apart till she is all healed. She now has the garage. My hubby is going to be so very happy with me.
My tom is beating up my hen. They have been together for almost2 months. And now she has open sores on her head and her wing has been picked at too! I have removed her from the pen but I would like to be able to have them together. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
Not sure how old they are I picked them up at an auction 2 weeks ago. Wish I could get a good picture of them. When I got them they only weighed about 5 lbs. I will work on getting a picture.
Whats the easiest way? I have two young bronze turkeys I haven't seen any signs either way. Any ideas would help these are the first bronze I have had.
Thanks for the info Frosty. My bbw is a hen. Hopefully I can keep her healthy throughout the winter. I'm looking forward to little chicks running around my yard in the spring.

What ones and what makes you think they are roos.
2 of the ones you have have pointed feathers on their crest and that automatically means roo. They one that are roos are #4 and #6.
Thanks but I think their crests are just wet
