    That was just the automatic naming from Henk (who originally made the color calculator). Phenotypically the only real difference you can determine between a normal Narragansett and a b/b1 C/cg n/- is that the barrings of the primary wings are usually imperfect on b/b1 birds.

    Unfortunately the pictures aren't good enough to tell the exact phenotype, but for sure a Jersey Buff phenotype and very likely a split base color. If you have pictures of his tail feathers, this would help a lot.

    Color wise it looks like the male was carrying a Narragansett gene as well. The lighter poult is most likely a Narragansett. If you have pictures of both of the parents, this would help to make a more precise determination.
