Yes the are really great. My personal favorite are the black grizzled painted.

Me too! And the grizzled chocolate painted. I'm hoping this jake is a grizzled black painted to go with my grizzled chocolate painted jenny. He is really dark for a grizzled but his grandsire was a dark grizzled black painted.

Oh wow! The grizzled/regular differentiation being based on whether they’re BB or Bb is unexpected for me. It makes a lot of sense though. This came right in time for me to decide which Toms I’m picking for this year’s pairings.

I know this thread was primarily about the painted turkeys, but since Harvey Speckled’s were mentioned I figured I’d ask: Does anyone know if the Harvey Speckled genotype had been determined/released yet? I know it’s not on the color calculator as of now.

No, we haven't released any official information yet.
Just to clarify, Harveys and Painted do not share the same mutation.
