I even picked them out. The guy had three brooders with about 100 chicks in each. All straight run. I remember thinking, man it's REALLY hard to pick the pullets out of this box. I was just excited about adding to my flock and didn't expect that someone would do that. I'm thinking about driving...
These are my "outside" chicks, 4 weeks
Obviously the last two pics are roos but what about the first pic?
Same feathering as the two black pullets but exhibits a male personality from time to time. Also, the only one with ten toes
Another pic of #3
I got them from an independent breeder (Chicken man) lol
I'm thinking 1, 2 and 5 are cockerels. #3 is still undecided.. The only one I'm positive is a pullet is #4
You guys might have changed my mind
I was holding a chirping chick outside today and she tried to kill me.. She's game fowl and has spurs
I don't think she's going to let me in the coop even while sleeping
I was going to clip Bonnie's wing this weekend because she has been roaming lately with Phoebe always chasing her off and what not.
I procrastinated and now she is gone as of this afternoon
The whole family looked for her until dark.
She wont last long in the open desert
