Have someone with you , taking them while you do the candling . I took some of mine, came out ok but couldn’t see the blood vessels. But still interesting to see.

Thanks it was more worrying then I thought but we got through it, just to sort out next coop & run the hutch is a bit small for so many chicks, really wasn’t expecting that many to hatch, 7 still waiting on last egg but it’s now day 24.

Yep my fingers are crossed for you, I have a olive layer but she’s stopped laying this year, used to love seeing her eggs , if This hatch does go ok I might buy some olive hatching eggs, another year , .
