    The day light is getting shorter they usually need around 14 hours if day light we have them extra day light in the AM so we wouldn't mess with teir returning home to roost it did make a difference

    I had a hen did the same thing with no eggs (I kept taking them) she sat 5weeks till I said enough I put her out and closed the door and I have to tell you she wasn't happy do when they don't leave the nest even when its empty yea they are broody

    Little fuzzy too bad you dont live close to me my neighbors two cats just had 15 kittens between them the moms were good hunters and of course they couldn't have them at his house oh no they had them right where we cleaning out the woods had to put the job on hold 6 weeks

    My two BBW are toms and I find j shaped poop everywhere and with the young poults I have been finding j shaped and curly q I keep trying to watch who gives what but of course you don't always get what you want

    My turkeys are 12 weeks and one is 9 weeks and I do remember that hens can have beards too that why I haven't named any of them yet this is the one I'm watching it was 8 weeks old

    Thanks for asking fiestychick actually im more confident that I have at least one tom I have been watching the one and I made it let me touch it and I found a beard just starting to grow and I have been seeing the poop in a j shape so I still hope.
