We are going to be waiting to get ours from her next hatch. We also live a lot farther south in VA and if your willing to wait that long we could combine our orders and you could just come pick up yours from us instead
I'm pretty sure it's for chicks, up to two weeks old and then she adds a dollar for each extra week after that.
And she is somewhere a bit south of richmond
I'm honestly still in debate on what I want XD but I'm pretty strong on the red laced Wyandottes and mottled houdan so far, it's hard not getting them all!
Give me just a secound I'm asking her now, I was so excited about talking chickens and discussing breeds that I forgot to ask prices!
Hello everyone,
I'm about to be a new chicken owner in VA!
I'm keeping all heritage breeds and it took me forever to find a good local breeder but now I have! I wanted to share my good luck so if your intrested in any of the breeds they offer message me and I'll send you her contact info...
I know I'm still amazed! I was just randomly searching for breeders and when I stumbled across her I couldn't believe my luck! Also if there is anyone in Virginia intrested in any of these awesome breeds feel free to send me a message and I can give you her contact info!
I know right! They almost look fake their so pretty!
And for anyone curious here's the list that the breeder I'm hoping to get from sent me for her hatching season:
Black Star
Buttercups
Crevecoeurs
Blue Andalusians
Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
Blue Cochins
White Jersey Giants
Partridge Cochins...
I can definetly believe you on wanting more chickens, I haven't even finished building the coop yet and I'm already thinking of ways to convince the family we will need more XD
Also I totally agree with you on not getting them from hatcheries, I've been scouring my local area for good quality...
I have wanted Chickens for a very long time and have been lobying for them at my house since I was little.
Now that I've gotten farther in my life journey, gotten into college, and matured the time has finally come to start my first flock! When I was younger my mother was a kindergarten teacher...
