Yikes, that smell would definitely turn me off from eating them too!
Yes we have lots of bass!! They put up a good fight so I like catching em!
Wow, we have a size and bag limit! And usually after a few hours on a good day you can reach your bag limit! (Depending what you're fishin for!)...
$20 a year.. that's about the same price as here. Honestly, the fishes here are pretty smelly for some reason so we don't really fish for consumption
Smelly?! That's such a bummer! I love cooking up fresh caught fish for dinner or a snack! I prefer fishing for monsters so I usually only fish...
Ohhhh man! If you want some good fishin' you have got to come to Wisconsin!! Thousands of natural lakes and streams! I've honestly never thought about living in a desert and having to drive hours just to fish! I can drive only 10 minutes and catch 30+" northern pike daily. Or drive only 30...
All right. So since I'm new to this whole backyard chicken thing I might be over worrying. I have always heard that chickens "see blood" and once one gets injured you should remove it so it doesn't get "pecked to death!" Well that just sounds horrific and has got me worrying. This is one (of...
I think I'm going to have to go with my gut instinct on this and realize I have a rooster, or two!

He handed me a sheet of all the breeds he had in stock I personally marked the breeds I wanted, they were even written on my receipt. He then went in the back and picked them out. Not sure how the confusion could've happened other than he was insanely busy when I was there!
@junebuggena after just searching Production Red chicks that looks to me what I've got! Bummer, not looking forwards to the bad temperament I hear about the production reds []
I was almost certain after googling "barred rock chicks" that these weren't them. They have yellow/tan legs and I believe it's a single comb. They both also have a tiny black spot behind each eye.
Hello all, I'm new to this page and to the chicken world!! I went to get a few pullets from a reputable hatchery yesterday! I picked 2 Barred Rocks, 2 black Austrolrps and 2 Buff Orpingtons. I can easily distinguish the buffs, however, I'm starting to wonder if I got any barred rocks. If they...
