    Egyptian with swollen heel

    One of our Egyptians has a broken back toe and swollen heel. I thought perhaps it was an infection but after picking her up (not easy) we noticed swelling in a couple other spots on her other foot. Ideas about what this could be and what to do about it? Thanks.

    We decided to make it a nest in a glass bowl so we could put it in our fondue pot. Then we wrapped the heating pad around it to keep the water temperature up.     This egg snuck under a broody a day or two late in the process. She won't hatch it, and our current broody won't take it. We are trying to keep it warm. Any suggestions?
