    Hello from Oceanside, California. I'm new to the group. I grew up with chickens in Utah, but this is my first time raising my own flock. We got our babies a couple of weeks ago and have found this site indispensable. My husband humors me in all this and calls my sweet babies "my raptors." Lol.

    Hens or Roos?

    Meet Ellie (on the left) and Molly (on the right,) the largest of our babies at about 6-7 weeks old. The feed store said they were golden sex-links, but they look just like the ones they said were Rhode Island Reds. Regardless, I'm afraid one or both might be roosters. What do you think?
