Hello from Oceanside, California. I'm new to the group. I grew up with chickens in Utah, but this is my first time raising my own flock. We got our babies a couple of weeks ago and have found this site indispensable. My husband humors me in all this and calls my sweet babies "my raptors." Lol.[IMG]

[IMG] Your "raptors" look very cute, and lucky since it looks like they are getting to free range.

Interesting little flock you have there. The little cockerel in the middle looks like he's keeping a good eye on everyone.

Your husband is just jealous of the attention they are getting. I bet anything he ends up loving them too.

Thanks all! The two oldest red ones were supposed to be golden sex-links (Ellie & Molly, but I've heard they might be Elliot & Mo! Lol,) the two blacks are supposed to be black/silver wyandottes (Lola & Tigerlily,) the two medium red are supposed to be Rhode Island reds (Pixie & strawberry,) the two cream ones are supposed to be buff orpingtons (Popcorn & Peaches,) and the two tiny ones were free-range born Easter eggers (Sprinkles & Bambi.) We're so in love with these noisy little poop factories!
