    Sick baby rooster

Thank you, especially for teaching & sharing all of your knowledge. Yes it is a very creepy feeling as they go across your skin. I feel better now that I don't have to worry about my 96 y.o. Dad, my loyal fido & my expert kitty hunters.

    Sick baby rooster

I'll take your advice and stop feeding them deserts of corn, bird feed and kitty leftovers. Pellets for everyone. It's time to be a better Daddy. It's true then; I was serving them, cake & ice cream. No wonder they went for it with gusto. I'll see if the baby rooster does better, hopefully...

    Mites

I personally would have you get a heat lamp. Those little critters hide and lay eggs in every crack and I believe the eggs mature in a week or so I am waiting for another infestation. My compassion is making me pay a higher price than a box with a comfortable heat lamp.

    Sick baby rooster

Is Mareks disease terminal/deadly to the chicken? Is there a chance that the antiviral from the vet may reverse it? I really don't want to cull him. He's a happy Baby Rooster. The other chickens don't eat the pellets. So I was at a loss what to do. Thank you for all your help. :)

My 8 mos old Rooster, both of his legs are becoming stiff. he is still able to flex them , but the normal position is to have them extended. His appetite is very good. His diet is corn, bird seed & left over kitty food as well as the other hens & the Daddy Rooster. One of my red hens had died...

    Frost bite

With any type of frost bite, the vascular area has been compromised. either by constriction of the blood vessels or by rapidly warming the area which uses up the oxygen thus causing the tissue to die. Many times the blacken area will either fall off or under the scab the body will be able to...
