I am sorry, I should have included that the chickens free range very day. From about, 9am to whenever they go back to the coop for the night. I love watching the chickens work the grass for bugs.

I can only tell you what I did to get my wife's dog(Winnie) to stop chasing the chickens. I kept the chickens in their coop for the first week and always took Winnie out on a leash. I would walk her past the coop getting closer every day. Any time she looked at the chickens, I jerked her collar...
