Just for fun, I have a 5 day update. The wattles continue to stay pinkish but haven’t grown much. Comb is still small and mostly yellow. This chick doesn’t stand like a cockerel and is quite a “chicken”. Runs from everything and is definitely a follower. I will keep waiting.

My Sappire Gem started laying at 16 weeks, lays about 5-6 eggs per week, and is so sweet. She follows me around and is always happy to see me. I will say her only downfall is she is my loudest. That girl can screeeeech.
I know everyone has said it but definitely a hen. Mine got a really large comb and wattles early on and started laying at 16 weeks. She’s only of the friendliest of our flock.
I have asked multiple times and they keep changing the date that the new dates will be released. It was late October or early November. Then late November or early December... just keep an eye out for the release dates and you should be able to order in advance.
