    This assumed male is a 13 week EE and Red sex linked mix. It has no signs of saddle or hackle feathers though. Should it not be developing those at this point if it is a cockerel?

    The comb is red but I see no signs of hackle or saddle feathers. Very friendly, it flies up and sits on my shoulder like a parrot. Any thoughts?

    Fingers crossed for that. And, you are absolutely right. They were called sex linked when I got them at Tractor Supply. They were our first birds so forgive my ignorance. You know your stuff. Thanks for the help.
