I would love it if they could all go together but if you would like just the drake that would be good as well. It might make it easier to rehome the girls without the drake.
Thanks for all your help but Grapenuts did not make it. The vet put him in an oxygen tent and did a xray. His trachea was clear but his lungs were in tough shape, looks like bacterial or fungal infection. When she tried to give him meds, fluids and nutrients he ended up passing away. They are...
Thank you, I will put him in a quiet place on a towel with food and water like you suggested. I will run over to tractor supply and get VetRx as Lil Drake40 suggested as well.
I am not going to be able to get him to a vet at least not today, my vet is not available until Monday. I will separate him to see if I can get a look at his poop but my wife said she has been watching him and following him a lot and has not seen him go. Is there anything that you think that I...
We have not seen him poop recently and its been a couple of days since he started breathing like this. When we started to read up on what could be wrong and we decided to try a molasses flush which I did yesterday but obviously that did not help. When I went home for lunch today he was like...
I am not sure what is wrong but my duck is not eating but is drinking water. He seems to be opening and closing his beak a lot and kind of staying away from the other ducks (1 male and two females) and just finding a place to sit down. He will get up and walk with them here and there. I am not...

Please feel free to ask any questions. I live in Taunton MA. 02780. [email protected]
These are my 3 week Welsh Harlequins that are supposed to be 3 ducks and 1 drake. Right now 2 look similar and the other 2 look similar. Is it to soon to tell?
I have decided to use the stock tank. I seems foolish to have it sitting in me cellar empty and then buying something else. I will figure out a way to make the water last longer than a day.
I have a 2000 gal koi/goldfish pond and I made a Skippy type filter (google Skippy Filter) with a Rubbermaid 70 gal stock tank and it works pretty good. I would just make a smaller version and use a submersible pump to feed the filter which would also help with taking the water out.
I building my duck run and coop this week for my four Welsh Harlequins and I have a bunch of materials that were given to me or I have already kicking around. One of those items that I have is a Rubbermaid 300 gal stock tank with a drain plug on the bottom. Initially I was not going to use it as...
