    I only have the one GLW. The other chicks in question is a Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock and a Green Queen x EE cross that we hatched ourselves.

    Any huge indicators with gold laced, never had one. Currently wondering about 3 in our new flock. One has already shown significant signs of being cockerel. Just worried we are about to have 4 Roos out of 8. Yikes. This one is super submissive too. Not sure if that means anything.

    5 week old Gold Laces Wyandotte During a hatchery grab your own bin sale we selected a Gold Laced Wyandotte. Unfortunately, didn’t pay attention in all the madness if it was a pullet bin. Concerns have been pink/flesh colored comb, feathered slower and now I’m seeing iridescent feathering.

    EE x Green Queen 7 week Old Sex?

    We hatched out a Green Queen (mom) and EE (dad) cross chick. Now that we are at 7 weeks hoping we can get some guesses if it’s a cockerel or pullet. We go back and forth between the two as it gets older. Mostly leaning towards cockerel though. Hoping for a pullet.

    Yes it is under the skin. She is eating, drinking and quite lively. Her eye is just watering so bad. Watering from eye is clear does not seem to have any discharge or color or odor. But bump is about the size of the end of pinky finger.
