    Abscess?

    been battling swelling, and on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory, does the swollen left foot (if you were the duck) look like it has an abscess? Any advice? Will this break open and drain?

    I have been soaking in Epsom salt then I apply decolorized iodine to the dark scab things. Do I soak again after applying and then try to peel? I haven't had luck trying to remove them yet but the swelling has gotten pretty bad, it needs to drain, I feel so bad.

    Switched from azithromycin to clavamox, as there was no improvement after a few days and the swelling had gotten worse. Still on metacam, still soaking in Epsom salt, swelling I believe has worsened. Tomorrow I will see how the swelling looks, if it hasn't improved we will go to the emergency...

    I have a male mallard, he will be two in August. His head has never turned fully green. He molts like he should when he should be his head doesn't fully go green, is that something that comes in time with age?
