I have a pair of Americuana chickens, 11 weeks old. One has a pale, undeveloped comb AND a cock/sickle feather, the other has a red, larger comb and NO cock feather. The undeveloped comb chicken behaves rather aggressively. Please tell me if you think they are both roos! I really want hens.

I need diatomaceous earth for the deep wood chip bedding technique inside the coop, but Tractor Supply just sells the kind for drying horse stalls. I doubt that it is food grade, does it really matter? Where else should I look? I'm in Kansas City, Missouri. Thanks!
