    broody doesn't like her new nest:( help!

    We may have fixed our problem...In her original spot in the coop, she took box #2 in the row of five. We found a line of identical boxes in the barn and put it in her brooder. She instantly took spot #2 of that row and is sitting on fresh eggs. Fingers crossed! :)

    broody doesn't like her new nest:( help!

    Mama went broody (her 1st time, and ours too), so we started putting other hens eggs underneath her as we had previously been collecting them daily. It was not an ideal setup in the coop so we tried moving her to the brooder last night. Not so slick, lost 3 eggs and she hasn't sat on them since...
