    Barley Fodder

How soon can you feed your fodder? And it seems that there is a white furry fluffy mold that shows up when it gets dry. Spray water on it and it goes away at least it appears so. Is that anything to worry about?

Seems like everyone thinks he's a cockerel. Guess that's not so bad if I can cross him with my Ameracauna and get an olive egger. Thank you for all your input!

Have you had any issues with your barley? I bought a 50lb bag of whole barley from a mill. Put it in to soak last night and noticed this morning it had patches of white mold. Have you had this issue? Can ya just fish out the mold and sprout it?

New development. I just finished their run and turned them out three or four days ago. Now they won't go in at night. They'd rather sleep in a pile outside.

That's why I was wondering about the throw and grow in the pic posted cause I thought they treated their seed...

    COOP builders

Thanks for all the info! Just seems to me like most of those places are taking advantage of the popularity chickens are getting to make a lot of money. $1000-$2000 for a chicken coop is a little rediculous. I put a wooden fence around my yard at my old house for half the price ($500). And it...
