    Ha! Moose doesn't kill anything. We had a couple mice sneak in the basement last winter. My other cat ripped one to pieces and Moose took ot upstair and laid eith it in his cat bed. I was so grossed out. Mu husband had to get rid of it. Lol!

    Alrighty! I have nine lovely mutt chicks to be three weeks old on wednesday. Would anybody be willing to bear with me and see if they could sex any of them. Two I am 90% certain are roos. But I've never had chickens before. So I'm hoping to find some help here. Thanks!

    New and needing help

    It might be a humidity issue. The membrane is too tough so they tire out before and die. Though I do asist. I had 10 out of 12 hatch last time and I had to help two out. My early birds. The humidity wasn't high enough when they decided to hatch.

    Indeed. I got the eggs from a farm outside of town where she lets them all free range. I though it might be a growthe. It's only the one foot and one feather thingy. I have a white chick with side burns on it's legs. I just didn't know what it was.

    Hm that's a good question. I live in nebraska where our July is frequently 100+ and humidity is between 60 and 80%. I would love to know this answer as well. I don't see why it couldn't happen.

    I just realized I never updated! He didn't make any progress for 29 hours so I decided to help him out. He wouldn't have been able to zip. Not only was he *** backwards but had his head between his feet and he has a bit of wry neck. A special little birdy.
