These are my chicks from a few years back. I had a barred rock cockerel and a barred rock hen. The cockerel is in the front. The hen, you can barely see her, she is in the back, black head next to the waterer. The cockerel has definite white barring, where the hens will be more black.

I just looked at the calendar and realized mine will be 5 weeks old on Friday. They were a week old when we got them.
