    I have several favorelle hen's that are about 2 yrs old their toes started turning and pointing backwards also some brahma hen's I hatched less than 1 yr ago have same issue but not as babies seems to be the only 2 breeds out of the many I have what could cause this to be happening

    My husband squeezed around on her neck to check for something lodged we looked in her throat something moved around not sure if it was an object or something that was supposed to be there but the next day she started eating I'm watching her now to see if she progresses or continues to decline

    So another bandage change and not any new progress I think it is more like a cyst and I'm worried it will not heal unless it's opened and cleaned out which I don't know how to do and I don't have any numbing agent to not have her be in pain I'm just at a loss no vets deal with chicken in my area

    I have an americauna this happened to she is still alive but her bone is on one side and her head on the other also her crop is on one side instead of the middle ahe has now been losing all the feathers from her crop and neck and wing but seems ok for now she's about 2 years now

    Changed the bandage got more fluid out of the big blister more ointment and bandage she's doing very well

    No vets around me will deal with chickens we drained the abcests and got the plug out for the bumble foot soaked it all in Epsom salt water and bandaged it with antibiotic ointment she is doing much better today she is walking eating drinking like nothing changing bandage tomorrow check the progress

    They have hay in the boxes and some on the ground since there is a slab of concrete then the run area is all dirt but has some rocks due to living in the desert

    Yeah I never even heard of bumble foot til now I've had chickens for around 6years no problems now this and others having issues I've never dealt with this year is horrible and its hot now so that makes it harder

    If feels kinda both it is smooth and almost transparent like it is full of fluid it doesn't look like bumble foot from what i wached online so im really confused
