I do believe you are right, she laid a small very light brown egg today finally!!!! Thank you everyone for your help!! Now if I could just get all 9 to lay in one day lol

She's a hen, I've checked but can't find any hidden nests.

I have an almost 7 month old Ancona that still has not laid any eggs yet. Any clue when she may start?

Hubby has given the ok for a new coop and more chickens next spring. I'm wanting to keep about 21 in total. I'm looking for suggestions on size of coop.

2/9 but the cuteness of the little one makes up for the other missing eggs. Little one weighed in at 23.2 and the other one at 66.

Red sex links-age is unknown, at least a year old Mixed breed-age is 6.5 months. She has only been laying for a week and the others all year.

One in the run and at least one a day in the coop but not in the nest.

I have 9 hens and all of the sudden a few are missing the nest. I have 4 nest boxes set up but came home to an egg in the run. How can I get them to drop their room n board payment in the nests??
