    Bloody poop and worms! Help!

Sometimes chickens eat dirt to get some vital nutrients they are lacking from their usual diet. I leave them with their feed 24/7 and give them treats and they still eat dirt ! As for the worm problem have you tried giving them some diatomaceous earth? It works wonders and its 100% natural.

    What are you watching?

Yeah it's a Netflix original so they of course are going to have another season ! Only thing I absolutely hate is that it will premiere during the summer so we have to wait like 10 months

5 Orange County, Ca hens need a new home

I live in San Jose ! :(( I'd love to take those easter egg chickens, but we live pretty far away. I'd drive up there and get them, but that would be a little to much for me to do by myself, haha. Any chances they can be mailed?

Weird Egg ridges?.. Possibly sick hen.

Today, my hen I believe it was either a Barred Rock or a Delaware started laying for the first time. I cant be sure which hen laid the egg, since I was at school but it could only of been those 2 since the others were already laying. The egg seemed to be different than the eggs which im used to...

Possible rodent and or other feed eating monsters ?.

I have a 5 pound continuous feeder and I fill it up about 3/4s of the way and it almost completely runs out . As for my hens, I have them all at different ages . Only 2 is laying but 3 can possibly lay at any time . So I'm assuming they're just eating a lot now. Thanks for the tips

    What are you watching?

I loved Stranger Things! The ending really got me in a sense of questioning and excitement. To bad the next season comes out next summer, only thing I hate about Netflix originals .

    Shell less eggs

:( i guess you can try mixing wet feed with a calcium source. Hens love wet food for some reason.

Are Potato Leaves Poisonous to Chickens?

Chickens cannot learn taste aversion but will avoid foods high in salt. I do not recommend and part of the potato plant at all

Possible rodent and or other feed eating monsters ?.

@chickengeorgeto ah! good choices of words . Hmm I guess my hens just eat a lot and considering my entire neighbor is a stray cat refuge id rarely think to see any rodents. Apologize for the wrong topic selection I just signed up today :p

    Shell less eggs

If you have any extra egg shells laying around I'd recommend crushing it and feeding it to them . Hens honestly don't tend to eat oyster shells or egg shells unless they want too, you kind of have to make them want to eat it . I find mixing it with sesame seeds or some dried herbs makes them go...
