    Solved Blocked from Facebook group??

I have been a member of the Facebook group for years and just realized I wasn't seeing any posts from the group. Now I can't even find the group of I'm logged into Facebook. A month or two ago my account was hacked and I was suspended from several Facebook groups. I'm assuming that is why I'm no...

    Tiny Cornish Cross

So I know this thread is super old at this point, but your mini cornish looks JUST like my little Ducky that I started a thread on and I was told he was a golden sex link. I am curious, he's at 22-24 weeks old now and still going strong (though walking is rough on him), what ultimately ended...

    Tibial Dyschondroplasia

Awe thanks guys. I figured I can throw on a few of Ducky's baby pictures. Originally he was supposed to be Princess Lay-A, but then when I figured he was a roo, it was going to be Chick-Bok-A, but when I saw him walk it was Ducky... so here's what he looked like as a chick and when I googled...

    Tibial Dyschondroplasia

Well, I had thought initially that maybe they HAD given me a Cornish Cross, but at less than 1lb in weight I didn't think that likely because I figured if he was a Cornish with the amount he eats (small crop but he stuffs that sucker like 4 times a day or more) he would have put on the pounds...

    Tibial Dyschondroplasia

    Tibial Dyschondroplasia

Here's what I've got. I also have a little twelve second video of him that I couldn't figure out how to upload. This was taken last week, https://photos.app.goo.gl/XuxfDp81ukymEaV58

    Tibial Dyschondroplasia

I have a 22-24 week old Golden Sex-Link Rooster (that is if TS gave me the correct breed). He doesn't weigh a pound yet. Last time I weighed him he was about .8lbs. He struggles to walk and I had noticed just before we put him and the others his age into the grow out area in the coop to also...

    Cuckoo Maran/ Ameraucana cross

She didn't show any lavender that I recall. I ended up rehoming her with an Ameraucana Rooster so I don't know what color her eggs are. I am dying to know too, but the woman who I gave her to hasn't been able to determine which eggs are hers in her very diverse flock. I'll post if I ever find...

    Cuckoo Maran/ Ameraucana cross

Yes, they were sexlinked. Hen=solid head, Roo=creamy spot on head. The hen ended up being a really pretty black bird, solid colored for the most part, adn the roo, looked more like a barred rock with an ameraucana face than my cuckoo maran hens that I just got.

Sagitta Breed - Looking for Info

My local feed store still gets them (or at least did this year). I was going to get a few more, but decided not to. The two hens I ended up with after my roo are great layers. I rehomed one because she was a bully (worse than the rooster I raised last summer for jumping on the backs of...

    Golden Sexlink Roo?

Then I'll just keep her as loved and comfortable as possible.

    Golden Sexlink Roo?

If a meat bird, I definitely would have thought she'd be bigger. My little polish is almost as big as her. 5 weeks old is still kind of young but I've been had one like this. Every morning I'm surprised she's still alive. Not sure why that surprises me though. Side from her lack of growth and...

    Golden Sexlink Roo?

I would have expected it to have been smaller than the others when it was first hatched/bought if it were a bantam. It was the same size as the other Golden Sexlinks at the start. I had two other White Leghorns and they were much bigger than this one. My one thought would be, if she had...

    Golden Sexlink Roo?

Update on the Golden Sexlink - The more it grows the less it even looks like a sexlink. It's the little white fluff ball. The chicks it is next to are the wyandotte that is about a week older than it, and then the one on the right is the other Golden Sexlink that I bought at the same time as...

    Chicken feed

Now a question on fermenting... How do you do it? Do you just add water to the crumble or pellets? I always thought that was something you had to do with whole grains.

    Chicken feed

That's a great idea. I don't have anything local but maybe in southern Oregon I can find something (Medford or Ashland).
