    Help Diagnose my turkey please:(

Hello, my turkey seems to have fallen ill. I have done procedures of isolation from my flock. The turkey's symptoms are white puss at the eyes, discharge at nostrils, lethargic, and weak. If you have an idea what it could be, please tell me and give suggestions to help cure it.

    Preventing Hawks...Is It Possible?

The Great Pyrenees is a great breed to use for protecting livestock. They will sleep, eat, drink, and live beside your animals. They will give their lives to protect their herd or flock of animals. I do recommend creating structures for them to hide around when they are outside.

    Hawk Problems

@centrarchid how is it part of my problem? Even though it is, you do not have to state the obvious. I am just looking for a solution even though I have many of these safeguards in place other than keeping them indoors all day and/or making a run for them( which I do not have the money or time to...

    Hoarse voice and beak open

Sounds like she could have something stuck in her throat. Try massaging the chickens throat to feel if there is anything in there. I have had this happen to me before and this was the problem for me.

Review by '' on item 'Brahma'

A very hardy dual purpose bird that does it all for you. It can be raised for meat and egg production. They can get heavy real quick but not as fast as per say broilers for meat. The egg production is decent but it is not for just solely making eggs. The bird can stand up to all weather but...

    Local Council Concern Question

I would definitely get the state dept. of ag involved along with a poultry vet or normal vet to help support your cause by educating the board of the salmonella tainting the water.

    Pine Shavings Question

In my opinion I would get a compost barrel to start the compost process without just plainly dumping it directly on the bushes. It would help prevent the ants possibly eating your bushes.
