Has anyone had experience with buying a coop advertised on Craig's List.
It is described as $239, pre cut, delivery included? It seems small but I do not intend on many hens and it would inside my garage with access to a pen out an existing window.

I am curious how the winter went with your chickens. I live near Chicago not too far from the FEED store on Harlem near I-55. Was the winter a challenge and did it effect egg production?
If an extension cord is a possibility, you might buy a heating device that is designed to keep birdbaths free of ice and use that in your waterer.... this may be impractical if you have to cover a great distance.
