    Insulated ceiling. The north wall (nesting boxes) the vent at the top open into my wife's hay building. It has vents on the gable ends. 2 donkeys 2 sheep.

    Yes, that wall is open to the outside. It is a covered porch area. Should give them lots of fresh air, but no rain or snow. Now I have to get going on the run area.

    New chicken from different supplier

    If one is getting new day old chicks from different hatcheries is there a need to keep them seperated at first? I will be getting my first chicks this spring and will probably be getting some from different breeders. Would like to raise them all together.

    Definitely walk in. The base building is 12X24. It will also have add ons to the sides. It will also hold hay for my wife's Donkeys. I dug out for the gravel base today.
