    Thanks for the replies and help, shame its cockerel as im not allowed to have one where I live, hopefully where i got it from have another hen for me!

    Sorry im not entirely sure 10 - 15 weeks and i believe its a light sussex x australorp

    Hi all, another aussie here from Victoria. Have not much experience with chickens but much to gain. I recycled my old dog kennel into a coop and built a fenced run, still a work in progress but my 3 love it so far. Im sure ill see you around BYC cheers. Ryan

    Yes I can see that, thanks for the info! I think its along the lines of light sussex x australorp. The other one not in the picture but same age is an isa brown x orpington

    Thanks Bronco, see picture below. When we got them they were a little light on feathers i assume they were molting then. The comb is the only thing that concerns me but I am new to chickens and read its not the best indicator.

    Hello Just trying to work out gender and age on the white one in front. I was told when I picked it up 3 weeks ago he was 70% sure it was a pullet. I cannot remember what cross breed it is, im guessing 10-15 weeks? (Im Aus and new to chickens). Thanks for any help, Ryan
