This is very informative. My hens are finally laying.

These are my babies now at about 7 weeks. I took them outside for the first time. Coop is almost ready!

Here's my 4 babies. In this pic they are about 2 weeks. (RIR, Black Sexlink, Buff Orpington and Domineque) They are about 4-5 weeks old now. Will take updated pics of them asap.

Well the coop is smaller than I wanted but it's almost ready. Maybe by the weekend. My babies are about 5-6 weeks old. The pic on my avatar is 2 of them at 2 wks. Is it ok to feed them raw veggies yet? I've noticed a couple of them pecking on each other. Should I be concerned?

I'm in! I just received 4 chicks from a friend 2 days ago. I think they are about a week or so old. We have no idea what we are doing and trying to get started building a coop for my new babies. So... yes, lets see. Peggy from Mississippi

Hi, I just received 4 new chicks from a friend. A little nervous but excited. I have a black sex-link, a rhode island red, a doninque and a buff orpington. Suppose to be all hens (but we'll know soon enough) I'm very excited about this. They are so cute and sweet. Only had them 2 days. Rushed...
