    Hi new to this thread. Can anyone tell me why Blue Birchen Marans chicks are so expensive from Greenfire? Are they that good? Are they of the quality a breeder could work with? How many would a person need to buy to get a good breeding trio? Any advice would be well taken. Cleve

    These are a pair of mallards. Usually wild and fly north and hatch eggs in the Canadian pot hole region. I don't know if that instinct is valid as domesticated ducks or not. Cleve
