    This is Princess Lay-ah. She has slow growing feathers compared to flock mates, who are not barred rocks, and more white on her than I remember my other barred rock pullets having. Your thoughts?

    Out of all the worms i have seen, capillary makes the most sense. Thin thread like, and no longer than .5" but usually not found in poop.... would they cause bleeding and swollen vent, and yellow scabbing?

    It was in his poop on the ground, i saw him poop so no time had passed, i did take video... but it wont let me load it. Do t think you can see them in the picture without movement but sharing anyway. These were tiny moving worms. Nothing big...

    My rooster has been seperated, after his bath. He has a swolen vent, with some rank leakage, and crusty skin. He seems constipated too and wimpers when he tries to poop. He does manage to get some out, but i can see more stuck inside the vent. I dont see any sign of worms. Or other parasites in...

    Havnt seen any magots. And i would imagine all the dead skin/ scabbing would have been eaten by maggots. I did find something about vent gleet. Can a rooster get that?

    The scabbing is only on the vent. I did look him over because that was my first thought. I checked the rest of my flock and everyone else seems fine.

    My boy seems to be in pain, and has a hard time pooping. Anything he does poop stinks. Bathing him now to get him cleaned up. What does this look like? How should i treat it? He seems to have a hard scabbed patch under his vent

    NVM. He had a seizure and died. Why is there never any help when you want it.... Sorry expecting miracles here. I even tried FB, and no one said anything there either. Feeling alone and heartbroken. Any way to tell what the sickness was?have 17 babies and hatching 24 more in a couple days.

    7 weeks old, was healthy this morning. just wants to stand and sleep. No interest in food or drink. poop is only the white part? and dinged yellow. He squeaks when he poops like it might hurt. breathing is labored, and crackle sound inside his nose.
