Currently trying to avoid this, wife is already not the happiest with how much three chickens are costing us. First year keeping them so I’ve had to spend some money for coop and other meds.
I will be calling them though after I post this to check price
Chicken made a good pip hole had been that way since 3 PM then at 10 PM I came up to see the hole was bubbling and the chicks mouth gasping like it needed to breathe humidifier read 80% only thing I could think that the chick was drowning. I chipped the egg around the chick where it would...
So it's been about 10 hours and haven't seen any progression past the picture is there a time I should start considering going to hands-on.so I had another egg PIP and I can tell that that one is a normal PIP because the Peak through and see his little mouth but this other guy I don't see...
Well I just heard him give me a few chirps I'm pretty excited being a first-time Hatcher and especially sense I thought my hatch had been ruined because I had a lot of quitters around day 11
Woke up this morning to this kind of excited because I thought my white eggs weren't going to make it, just a newbie so I don't know if this is a normal pip and it seems far back, wish I marked air cells.

Today marks day 21 and I just couldn't help myself and I candled at least 10 eggs that I knew were fertile and I would say the top half of them are dark but I still see clear fluid down below the halfway mark.
At this point if I would candle it shouldn't the whole thing be dark
I'm in the same boat today marks 21 and I'm not noticing any Pips just give it a while from what I have been researching I've seen people going up today 25
I'm doing this with my daughter as a learning experience of raising from egg to full grown so we candle a lot just to experience it all.
Now you say to turn so they don't attach, but if it's become attached would turning at this point be detrimental?
Ok so put my eggs in at 8pm Feb 28th, I put 30 eggs in and it seems 3 were infertile, have been turning them twice every day except the last two days they havnt been changed at all. Went to turn them today and noticed they have attached to the side of the shell and no longer move with the turn...
