6 week old gender guesses
Is the red waddle growing in a big yes to it being a cockerel? We have two austrolorps and one of them is getting red waddles. The other isn't, though she's smaller so could be younger, maybe? Our town is a no to roosters so I'm not sure what to do if we have a boy...- j262

Our 4 little quail are going to be 5 weeks this weekend. We definitely have 1 male and 2 female. Not 100% sure about one of them. I think female, which would be ideal to have 1 boy and 3 girlies. Waiting on eggs now... -

We heard the smallest one crow today. It was not a crow I heard on videos. Haha. We thought one of them was having diarrhea or something. Then we saw him do it and it still sounded like that. A kind of deep gurgly crow. Maybe he needs some practice. -
