Welcome. My advice might be more cruel but it works. But a muzzle and put your dog in the coop. Or buy a puppy and start training him. I have a senior that she just had to be watched. Can't change her mind. Chicken is good. But my pit had been retrained by the muzzle and long hours of chicken...

I have a few that weren't laying and I thought they should. I changed all the nesting materials and started giving treats. I do have lights in my run that are on non-stop. Some of my birds won't go in my co-op and a few get up every morning at 4:30... 3:30 since we rolled back our clocks. Uhhhh...

Nice try. I didn't cut anything. All I did was pick up the bodies, brought inside my house and rinsed them in the sink. I did go back out and since the 3 eggs were all thrown in different areas, took pictures. I unfortunately wasn't able to locate the 3rd but it is not relevant. Just trying to...

I love my KC. She is a great layer. I'm not sure who lays more her or my crested peking. She was the 1st to try to sit on a nest but I think it was just too hot. She lays every day since she started. I should have some eggs hatching next week bit for size of egg and flavor... A++++
