She's all healed up and runs around perfectly fine. Thank you so much for helping. I think that it'd be a good thing for others to know that it can be fixed more than 24 hours after the tendon pops out, killing it isn't the best option
I put some splints on the bottom two parts of her leg. I'm not sure if that'll work as I'm not sure yet what is entirely wrong but just have to keep trying
My mom got a baby chick and wants me to doctor it. Something in its leg is broken or nit right, it hops around with the feathery bit pushed out and when I hold it upside down, it doesn't curl it's toes. If it's broke, I don't know where to look and how to splint it

My mom got this one, not sure what breed. It recently started picking on 3 other chicks and I had to separate them. Do you think it could be a rooster?
I have some couple week old chicks. The heat lamp is off of them, but when should I take the normal light off? They are of varying ages and our house stays warm, but when is it ok for the light to stay off all night.
UPDATE: She is much better now. Her scab has healed. I ended up getting the old one off and the new one formed and healed in no time at all. The only problem is, I think her wing is broke or has a defect. The joint is really big and she holds her wing oddly. But there is nothing I can do for...
She has some feathers growing around and in that area. Do you think they will be ok? I'm not sure if there is anything I can do about them. The down around that area seems to be wet or sweaty most of the time as well. But the skin doesn't seem to be such a bright pink anymore. I've considered...
