Welp has great prices and they include shipping, while Ideal is from the South so the temperature shock in shipping won't be as bad. Can't tell you about square feet per bird for sure, but 1 per bird on these meaties is what I was told as the bare minimum if you slaughter at 8 weeks.

If you use a plucker and don't scald your birds you'll end up with a big, bloody mess. It will rip feathers off with skin attached.
