    Okay Thankyou they won’t be going anywhere but it still seems odd not to lay for this long. Some friends of ours have even older birds that have been laying all winter and they are the same breed.

    Hi I have two chickens, Who started moulting August last year so they stopped laying eggs. This took a while but they have finished now and they still haven’t started laying again. They have access to food, water, oyster shells and grit. Also one of them has had a dirty and poopyrear feathers...

    Weird lump on Base of tail

    HI today I Noticed a lump on sooty who is about 1 1/2 years old. It is on the Base of the tail( see pics). She has also been shaking and preening aroud that area.I saw it when I was checking her as my other hen sweep is bein a lethargic on my other thread. Other wise everything is normal Thanks...

    Porly lethargic chicken please Help

    HI my gorgeous sweep. Has gone all lethargic keeps closing her eyes and looks like she is trying to pass an egg. Also I found a pale yellow poop today. It is a really cold and stormy day today which may have caused something so have brought them into the warm. Thanks Finn

    Hi there does anyone have any advice on my hen. She has been looking quiet and lethargic i put her favourite treat in front of her and she didnt even flinch.she has gone up to her nest box and has been sutting there she has just laid a broken soft shelled egg and is still sitting,all fluffed up...
