    My Serama hen had 4 eggs. One hatched a sweet healthy chick last Tuesday. The other 3 eggs haven't hatched yet. The hen continues to sits on these eggs while caring her for little chick. I am concerned that there is something wrong with the remaining eggs. The hen ate 2 other eggs 2 weeks...

    Thanks for your feedback. My hen has been indoors the last couple months therefore the room temp. is 68-70 degrees. I also set up a light 75watt light in her house but it shines away from her nest.

    I have a pair of Serama chickens. They are such a sweet and loving couple. The hen started sitting on 5 of her eggs this past week. Is it okay for the rooster to stay in the same cage during this time and after the chicks hatch? They get very upset when they are separated.
