    Hi today she showed major improvement! Actually eating some scrambled eggs and breakfast my hand and pooped too. Now she is panting! Too hot now? It is like 72 in the room. Why else would a chicken pant?

    Hi my hen was attacked on Friday evening by a hawk. She has wounds on her back and her feathers are ripped out. Poor thing. I took her in the house, put her in a nursery cage in my mudroom and treated her back with blue kote. She survived the night. She has not eaten or drank by herself...
