After a tense 26-28 hours my first Cymani finally hatched. The poor baby is dragging dried membrane that is stuck to her/his butt around though...wait for it to fall off or do it myself?
First time incubating eggs. They were supposed to hatch yesterday. I counted the day I put them in the incubator as day 1. Would it be safe for me to candle them now or do I need to be patient and hope for the best? I am so scared none of them will hatch. 😔
I only have 4 of laying age, so maybe 3 lbs.? The rest are rather small. 9-12 weeks. We realized that we have a too large dosage first time. And we didn't like having to poke them and they didn't like it either. Someone on another site suggested .2 cc's for the smaller ones and .5 for my big girls.
You would give the 200 twice a day? That seems excessive, especially with my smaller chickens. Not trying to be argumentative, I just don't want anymore to die. I have a feeling the first one died because of too much medicine.
I just had to give mine injections and I felt so bad because I know the needle HURT. If I can give the Tylan 200 orally I would be much happier, and I think they would be as well. Also my girls are all smaller. I have 4 that are of laying age, but all others are smaller. Also, most have not...
