Just saw this, so I'm sorry if I'm late to the party! (Love this thread btw)
But yes! We just recently bought and tried this material. We have a converted shed for a coop and have three nesting boxes inside with a flap cover for access to the nests for cleaning and gathering. We had been...
Oh it looks lovely! So roomy! ours is like a one bedroom condo compared to your set up, lol! We have a converted shed... my girls would be jealous if they knew this was an option... (don't tell them....) nice work!
I love it! It's like getting little gifts! Good for them to give you two! I am anxiously awaiting our first from one of the three new olive eggers.... Still two months out probably.... soooooo not full of patience for that, lol!
Okay Georgians, mom just threatened to take our 2 roos to the "swap meet" which is an empty parking lot meet-up for junk/treasure hunters on Thursdays... I thought we had more time, as they haven't started crowing yet (we aren't zoned for Roosters)... but she's "tired of feeding the...
Oh wow, I love the colors on Broiler - he's so fanc-eh!
Sorry I don't know the leg feather terms - just looked like he'd pulled on a pair of clam diggers, ya know? Your first roo looks like he's got Hammer pants on (did I just age myself???)! :lau
Thank you for the info, I love learning...

THANK you! The last one sure seemed like a roo to us with those tall tail feathers... but it's not crowing and the comb is still light pink... We really appreciate the help!!!
