    Rhode Island Red is in need of a good home

    Great news. After almost a month trying to find him a new home, I am happy to report he found one. He'll be free ranging on a farm with about 100 other chickens. A vet who takes in roosters now is his proud owner and I suspect he'll be much happier in his new digs.

    Where he can crow to his hearts content. He goes by Rosie. We'll be sad to see him go but we can't have roosters. Up in Northeastern Mass by the NH border. He's about 10 weeks. I'll supply a picture soon.
