They go swimming in the tub 3 times a day, the house is full of the baby feathers, and she is constantly cleaning up and looking for larger boxes for them, but she loves it. So cute, but I'd be going a bit crazy by now. She might think twice the next time an animal "agent" asks her a favor.
A friend of mine is raising ducklings in the house now because the Seth Meyers needed a duckling as a punch line for a bit on the show. Now it's still the dead of winter and it will be forever before she can get them outside. All for a 1 minute gag!
Happy spring everyone. It's been a while since i've been here. I'm thinking of moving and want to get people's opinions about chicken keeping in different towns. Anyone from Bethel or Newtown? Don't want to fall in love with a house and find I can't bring my girls along!
thanks. I'm no where near having an address, I'm still in the Research faze of this project. I just don't want to waist too much time on towns that are going to be unfriendly to my girls. I guess there's no getting around doing old fashioned leg work.
If anyone has any suggestions of towns...
Fuzzy Wunkles, why don't you just switch brands instead of keep buying it and hoping it will be different? I tried Blue Seal once and wasn't happy and moved on. (in my case the girls just wouldn't eat it and I gave it away)
Thanks everyone for your support. Of course, I've been over to the emergency threads and read allot, but You guys are my peeps so I naturally come here.
I have her quarantined and I've changed out all the bedding in the coop and run per my vet's instructions just to make sure the others don't...
