Connecticut!

Yes, near Manchester CT. Girls all molting still.

Poor girls, it's starting to get really chilly.

Also I didn't know Manchester allowed poultry. Learn something new everyday.

Well looks like you two are pretty close together haha. I think a couple of mine are molting, two of them have little fuzzy feather buds on their heads.

Yeah. I don't know if mine have molted yet or if they are just really slow, because I haven't really noticed any funny/spiky looking hens.

Maybe they're just slow molters.

This is Speedy. THE first three are from the last week and the fourth I'd what she looks like fully feathered. Soooo I'm very sure she is molting. THE rest I can just tell by the color of the feathers left in the coop.

Yes Manchester allows people to keep chickens. SEEMS like reasonable requirements also. I'm next door, smaller town and figured you may not have heard of it. MYSTIC is about 45 minutes from here.

We are looking for eggs for this March 2017. Still looking for just 6. I would love to hatch out some chicks that will lay blue eggs. What do you think you will have available in the spring?

Can't wait for the cold to god away, along with the snow and ice! My hose keeps freezing and my poor ducks and chickens are doing a lot of sitting in their houses due to it. Poor things. Spring can't come quite soon enough, although I will have to get rid of two of my drakes due to a poor Hen to drake ratio.

(Also if anyone wants a healthy Pekin drake I got two)
