I have only once gotten a double yolk but this crazy tiny little egg was perfect inside and DOUBLE yolk... I was excited and wanted to call whoever documents the records for such things lol- Ellie Hooks

I have 8 Barred Rock that starred laying in September they didn't slow down through the winter. But a few days ago one laid an egg about the size of a big marble... I thought it may only be the yolk or just the white but I cracked it last night... inside was a perfect tiny egg and it was a tiny...- Ellie Hooks

Floaters?
I have 2 that are quite noise when they lay an egg... I like it though cause they just so proud of what they did... however, my other ones don't do all that bragging... but they all get noise when they see me headed to the yard because they're spoiled they know I'm bringing some nice treats....- Ellie Hooks

I have 8 barred rock hens/pullets no roosters... they have started laying now ... it's a slow process as they were different ages... first week only one a day then two then three now four... First egg
Okay that works... it's still light at 7:30 but im not into treking to the chicken yard in my nighty..lol... one chicken laid for about 4 days straight then took off a day laid three then I got 2 in one day...thats so far as many as I've gotten in one day- Ellie Hooks

Now I have 13... I have 8 barred rock hens. They just started laying I'm so excited but only yesterday and today have I gotten 2 eggs... question? How late in the evening will a hen lay? I just stay so excited and busy checking for new eggs.- Ellie Hooks
