    chicks normally scream when you pick them up. one thing i find that helps tame them down in hand feeding but it depends on the breed/chick.

    i do 4-H shows. people in the poultry barn sometimes sell. becarful buying bird that have been to a ton of shows as they might have picked up mites. i got 2 white rock bantams in quarentine with scaly leg mites and one of them has a few other issues.

    not many hatcheries in canada that ship but if Rochester ships to you u could try them. do you have any poultry show happening near you? also Brahmas are popular you should be able to find a breeder.

    it could have been other hens laying it or could have been a egg hidden by the hay. i dont think it is probable she layed them that quick but she could be a super chicken!

    if you live in USA you can order online. other wise you could check out local breeders and poultry shows. if you order online you wont get good quality stock
